We’re two IT geeks traveling the USA with our dogs and laptops. Happy sun-seekers, tasters of wine, and always ready for another tattoo. Stories of our life on the road.
It’s been a long time goal of Tracey’s to run a dog in the double digit class at Champs but none of our previous dogs have ever made it there, for various reasons. This was Brooks’s final championships, so a bit of an emotional roller coaster.
Our destination upon leaving Missoula was Gillette, WY. We could’ve made it in one long stretch, but how could we resist stopping at the first KOA ever?
The calendar says we were in Bozeman for a month, but that’s not exactly how things happened – Tracey ended up being gone for three weeks with a family emergency and Brian was gone for a week. There was so much we wanted to do there and didn’t have enough time
In our hurried escape from Cincinnati, we were surprised and grateful to find a spot near Columbus despite the eclipse crowds. Upon arriving at our highway exit we observed flooding that left both sides of the road looking like a drive in swimming pool.
