It was a crazy four days leading up to the trip but we have launched! Our first stop is an overnight in Virginia on the way back to the North Jacksonville KOA, where we first hatched the idea of going full time.
Due to time constraints around leaving, there are a few things that are less than resolved… first, the new couch hasn’t arrived yet. Normally, this would be an issue, as it’s an integral component in most evening’s activities, however for now it’s not an issue due to the state of the RV. In our rush to leave, we leveraged the corner where the couch should be for all the miscellaneous items we’ve pulled from the house and will need to be organized. So, there’s work to be done by both us and the Qualitex RV furniture company before we can Netflix and chill.
The state of the “sticks and bricks” house in Delaware also looks like we joined the witness protection program and needed to leave in a hurry. The items we don’t want mostly occupy two rooms but it would be a stretch to call them “well organized”. We’re going to have a charity go through and collect any items they want before using a haul away service to prep the house for sale.
Now, if you’ll excuse us…. we have some organizing to do.
